What is considered a Microsoft user?
For TeamsFox, every user in your connected Microsoft 365 tenant must be licensed if the following conditions are met:
The user is active/enabled.
The user has an assigned Microsoft 365 license.
Note: If any of these conditions are not met, the user will not be counted. External users or guests without a license are not considered as users.
Are there extra costs for infrastructure and services?
No, with the SaaS version of TeamsFox, the service fees, infrastructure, updates, support, and onboarding are all included, ensuring full clarity on costs. If you decide to host TeamsFox on your own Azure subscription, an additional annual service charge will apply. Infrastructure costs are not included and will vary based on your setup and scaling needs.
Is there a size limit for scanning a Microsoft 365 tenant?
No, TeamsFox can scan Microsoft 365 tenants of any size. However, due to the API limitations imposed by Microsoft, the larger the tenant, the longer the scanning process may take. You can customize which data is collected and how often it is updated to better align with your specific requirements.
As an MSP, is it possible to manage several tenants?
Yes, TeamsFox supports multi-tenant management and keeps tenant connections separate from user authentication, providing you with complete flexibility. You can also transfer configurations between different environments, making it easier to streamline and standardize your governance processes.
Is it possible to host TeamsFox on my own Azure subscription?
Yes, you can host TeamsFox within your own Azure subscription, either by yourself or through your managed service provider (MSP)/Partner. Please note that self-hosting comes with additional installation and support fees. Infrastructure costs are not included in the licensing fee for self-hosted installations.
